Pull Over, I Need to Pee

What is it?

Pull Over, I Need to Pee is a game about the interstitial moments between chapters, the moments that are usually skipped, overlooked, or deemed not important enough. We will be playing through those moments, and only those moments. At its core, this game is a world-building tool to help imagine the small instances of beauty or brief connections you might have on the road. Behind you is your last grand adventure and ahead is the next one. 

You can use this game to flesh out a journey between major acts of the story you’re telling, draw a few cards to make a shorter trip more vibrant, or imagine a world you haven’t explored yet. Along the way, you will make decisions about the world you’re travelling through and decide what makes it interesting, even if we’re only looking at the brief silences and soft exhalations between paragraphs.

What do I need?

• At least one person (probably the person reading this) and any number of people who want to tell this story
• Paper and pencils for notes
• A deck of cards (or a way to randomly generate a value between 1 and 52)

You can play this game solo, but it works better with creative input from multiple people.
